It appears that Etihad may be experiencing another price glitch, just one week after their epic Christmas "sale."

Your mileage may vary more on this one than most, but Etihad flights in January from the US to China are appearing to price much lower than usual on Chinese booking site Ctrip's mobile view. Try to use a credit card with no foreign transaction fees if you have one.

Jan. 1 0-Jan. 25

$485 round-trip
New York JFK - Beijing PEK
Jan. 1 0-Jan. 25

$496 round-trip
New York JFK - Shanghai PVG
